The Motion Picture Editors Guild regrets to announce the resignation of Field Representative Karen Greene, effective August 18, 2017.

Since she joined the staff in 2006, Karen has been a valuable member of our team. The Board of Directors and her colleagues recognize her for her work ethic and dedication to the membership. National Executive Director Cathy Repola said, “I want to personally and professionally thank Karen for all of her years of service and her contributions to the betterment of our community. She was a tireless advocate on behalf of the members, and I know she will be missed by many.”

Assistant Editor Matt Simpson has been hired to fill the vacated position and will be starting in a couple of weeks. There will be further introduction of Matt once he begins.

We hope you’ll join us in welcoming Matt and sending Karen off with good wishes.
