Lian McFalls is an assistant editor from south-eastern Pennsylvania. She moved to Los Angeles after graduating from Temple University with a Film and Media Arts degree. Starting her career at a company called Pace Pictures, she learned the basics of how to be an assistant editor on Hallmark feature films.
Since then, she has assisted on a diverse array of projects, including “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow,” “The Batman,” “Masters of the Air,” “Here,” and “Project Hail Mary.” Additionally, she has edited two feature films: “Cupid for Christmas” and “That’s Funny,” both of which are currently available for streaming.
In her spare time, Lian dedicates herself to her podcast, “Sips and Clips,” where she and her co-host engage in discussions with industry professionals in post-production about work/life balance, effective management of a cutting room, and the daily realities faced by those working in the field.
As a member of Local 700 for the past eight years, Lian intends to advance her career as an editor and assistant editor, acquiring as much knowledge as possible, and appreciating the journey.
