Re-recording Mixer

CineMontage recently attended a screening of Patriots Day, followed by a panel of major below-the-line craftspeople, including picture editor Colby Parker, Jr, ACE; re-recording mixer, sound designer and supervising sound editor Dror Mohar; and sound designer and supervising sound editor Piero Mura.

It is a late Friday afternoon in November and the post-production crew is carefully refining the soundtrack for a scene from Reel 6 of director Morten Tyldum’s Passengers.

On Saturday, September 17, Mix magazine presented its third annual Sound for Film and Television conference at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, in cooperation with the Cinema Audio Society (CAS) and the Motion Picture Sound Editors (MPSE).
