On Sunday, the LA County Department of Public Health reported 5 new deaths from Covid-19 and 175 new positive cases.
At the time of reporting, there are 339 current hospitalizations due to Covid-19.
The numbers reported Sunday by Public Health bring the County total to 24,171 deaths and 1,238,781 cases to date.

On Saturday, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health reported 14 new deaths resulting from Covid-19, and 265 new positive cases.
While the number of hospitalizations continues to decrease across the County as vaccines are doled out, the number of deaths and confirmed cases reported may reflect delays in weekend reporting.
The numbers reported Saturday by Public Health bring the County to a total of 24,166 deaths and 1,238,607 confirmed cases. …
