Sound Editor Kimberly Harris Dies at 66

Retired Sound Editor Kimberly Harris died on May 3 in Albuquerque New Mexico, according to her sister and her niece. She was 66. Harris had over 100 sound editing credits and won an Emmy for her work on 61*. She also won four awards for her work on Hacksaw Ridge.

Her family will be holding a private ceremony on her ranch to scatter her ashes.

Her family said she died after a long struggle with bone cancer. “Her life, beauty, strength and compassion has impacted so many…. humans and animals alike. This world is a better place because of her.”
